Download executable from http://www.gvsig.org/web/projects/gvsig-desktop/official/gvsig-1.1/downloads/view?set_language=en downloading 1.1.1 version (complete version-full included) and 1.1.2 version update. Choose EXE (Windows) or BIN (Linux), according to used operative system. We will explain Windows option in this case.

Double-click on the file. Press yes (or "si").
Installation asks if we want to install gvSIG. Click yes (or "si").
Next, click on "yes" for the question about check installation requisites. If application prerequisites are not installed (Java, JAI and JAI image), these prerequisites will be automatically installed one by one.
Once prerequisites are installed, GvSIG installation will start. First we will choose the language for the application. Click "ok".
A window will appear and click "next".
After, accept terms of license and press "NEXT" twice.
The path to install the application will appear. It will be c:\program files\gvSIG_1.0.2 by default, but we can choose another one. Is important remember this installation path for can install another gvSIG extensions as DielmoOpenLiDAR.
Next, application will be installed.

To install another gvSIG extensions as DielmoOpenLiDAR folllow the same steps. The only difference will be this window, where you must choose the gvSIG main installation path ( explained at 8th step of this installation manual). "Autodetect" could not work, you must remember the path where gvSIG was installed.

We will be able to get access to the application through a shortcut on the desktop or through "Start/ Programs/ Gva/ gvSIG" menu.
