DielmoOpenLiDAR 3D LiDAR Points Client is an open source software developed by Dielmo , and it is an example of the use of our LiDAR data server DielmoLAServer. It allows the visualization of a LiDAR data point cloud in 3D over the internet. Any user, expert or non expert in LiDAR data, will be able to display a data point cloud in 3D online, to choose a visualization mode (Height, Intensity, Classification, RGB) and to change the size of the points, all without having expert software for managing LiDAR data.
As it starts using Java Web Start, it can be easily integrated in any web browser or any GIS software. For its use, it is only necessary to know the coordinates of the desired area and make an HTTP request. As a result, a new window will be opened containing the point cloud in 3D previously downloaded by Dielmo Server Technology.
