DIELMO and Estratègies y Projectes Mediambientals, S.L are developing an application from LIDAR data, which is going to be very helpful for the environment sector, specially for Environmental studies.
Thanks to this application, detailed information from the territory can be obtained, allowing us to analyze the environment with higher scientific rigour. Among all the information able to be obtained as final result, we emphasise:

Vegetation Maps (forestry and agricultural surface, height...).

Accesibility maps(country roads, roads, highways…).

Natural features (mountains, valleys, ravines...).

Other features (aqueducts, bridges, power lines, dumps ...).
Visibility maps more accurated can be also obtained. It will enable us to check if the changes on the territory are really visible or not from different locations at 500, 1,5km or even 3,5 km from the change.
