The day after INTERGEO 2017. Analysis, trends and facts for 2018

Dielmo3D was exhibitor once again at InterGeo 2017 in Berlin (Germany). InterGEO, with more than 17,000 visitors from 92 different countries is one of the biggest and most important conferences related with Geoinformation worldwide.

As we still doing since 2011, DIELMO attended the conference aiming to improve and generate new conections within the LiDAR & Geospatial community, as well as visit colleagues, partners and clients from past editions. From our perspective of LiDAR experts and software developers, we have found these topics as the “MUST HAVE” :

#LiDARUAVMapping     #LiDAROnline     #LiDARutilities   #BIM   #LiDARAutonomousVehicles   #DronesBeyondSight     #LiDARprocessingONTHEFLY #QCAlgorithms #LightLiDARsensors

Our feedback of the market as LiDAR experts

Everyday, our clients ask for automatic software to improve workflows and speed up the process of working daily with LiDAR data. After deep research and trials, we still have not found any software able to classify correctly any area with “standard” levels of complexity. This reality confirms the need of running Quality Control & analysis algorithms on LiDAR datasets to save time and to avoid errors.

DIELMO3D understood this situation many years ago and since then we have been developing and running custom algorithms to each project and client we work with.  These algorithms and custom developments are essential to work on any LiDAR projet with the guarantee of efficiency and quality required; as well as to “save” time and recover partially the investment on “semi-manual” LiDAR classification.

The projects of utility maintenance are a real case of success in algorithms implementation for automatic and semi-automatic analysis, products generation and quality control. Vegetation management, clearance distances or tree fall risk analysis are an example where errors are not allowed or may cause an overcost. Automating and optimizing the results and its quality control allows to offer the best quality and near 100% accuracy at very competitive costs.

A BIG thank you to our partners, clients and visitors

The conclusions of this event could have not been better. Once again, DIELMO3D found new and interesting clients with whom discuss about potential projects and custom LiDAR solutions development. Our StandB4.006 in Hall 4.1 was always full of interesting people interested in building partnerships and developing new strategies and markets.

Furthermore, special mention to existing partners and friends as YellowScan, Hawcs, Harris, Leica or Helimap among others. It was a real pleasure to see you all again and we hope to see you soon.

To all the companies and people who came to visit us at our stand… THANK YOU! Next year Intergeo will be held in Stuttgart! We are looking forward to see you again in 2018!
